FAMILY GOODNESS

Welcome to my new blog.

This is all new to me so please bear with me as I learn.

Below I have posted a small piece that I started in Cindy Needham's class.  It took awhile because I stopped, started, made a couple of Big mistakes and then finally finished.  It now has a new home with my 93 year old mother.

the Hankie is probably very fine cotton laid over silk duponi and quilted with silk thread.

  1. Hi Geri
This looks as if it was a wonderful class and how fantastic to be able to go to one of the best to learn. Your quilting is gorgeous. The hankie looks so good on the coffee coloured silk background and I love the quilting design on the border. What kind of marker did you use on the silk? It looks as if you have quilted in clear thread?
    A beautiful, beautiful piece.
And as for learning about blogging - if you have only just started and are already joining in linky parties, you are doing very well!
